You want interesting? There was a similarly themed Peanuts cartoon almost fifty years ago (1/27/61, to be exact).
Charlie Brown to Lucy, who's preening to a hand mirror: "And besides, never forget that beauty is only skin deep!"
Lucy: "I deny that! My beauty is not only on the surface. It goes down deep... layer after layer after layer! Yes, sir!... I have very thick beauty!"
Not to imply any sort of plagiarism - just a comment that something that was funny in the comics a near half-century ago will still bring a smile today.
