MORE UNSOLICITED VISUAL FACT-CHECKING AIMED AT THE NEW YORKER

The cover of the latest New Yorker features a clothesline stretching between the Flatiron Building and (presumably) another building.


This is all well and good, but the clothesline appears to be a non-retractable, single line.

How are you going to get your long johns back into the Flatiron Building now, Eustace Tilley?
