So when is someone going to post an outraged comment about the fact that there are no lyrics in "Wichita Lineman" about desert toads, only 'nuther loads? When that person does, I would point out -- and I would because all jokes get funnier when analyzed -- I would point out that the real joke is that, given that both the Wichita County lineman and the prairie dog make the same mistake about the lyrics, they actually are a love connection despite protestations to the contrary. I smell a summer RomCom classic. (Well, either that or the prairie dog #$%& I stepped in.)
