Since it's a new year, I thought it might be time for a new blog avatar. Also, changing my avatar is as close as I'll get to achieving a New Year's resolution.
So, say goodbye to this guy, with his three nostrils, coffee-cup-handle ears, red turtleneck, stumpy yellow tusks, and eyes that match both the teeth and the sweater. He was not handsome, but he was color-coordinated.
Now, say hello to this guy (Guy Rolfe, actually), from the swell 1961 movie "Mr. Sardonicus." Same color combination in the eyes and teeth, offset by a complexion from Satan's Tanning Salon. Again, not very attractive in the classic sense, but his psychotic personality more than makes up for it.

(I do think the size of his mouth is even more scary than the color of his teeth, the color of his skin, or the content of his character.)
Chicks dig psychos (I'm told), but unfortunately for poor Mr. Sardonicus, he has no lips with which to capitalize on his winning personality,
