BEATLEAPATHY


Before the Beatles made a huge splash with their arrival at JFK Airport in New York 50 years ago today, George Harrison and his brother came to America to visit their sister in Illinois in September, 1963, before anybody here had heard of the Beatles. On their way back to England they visited St. Louis and New York City. Here's George NOT being mobbed atop the Empire State Building. (King Kong got more attention 30 years earlier.)
