ON THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES



Ever since the TV show Family Guy debuted in 1999, people have been telling me they think the dog character may have been inspired by my wolverine character in The Fusco Brothers, which debuted ten years earlier.

MY COLORIST

Apparently my daily colorist at GoComics thinks thought balloons should be off-white now and then (along with doctors' lab coats):


Same deal with Dr. Kapuchnik's hair, which is white when I do my own coloring on Sunday strips:


On the other hand, he likes the highlights on Lance's hair (and Axel's nose) to be white (I make it blue):


Maybe I should drop him a note. 

Nah.
